Samantha Chenatte has a growing regulatory practice with a focus on delivering practical, solutions-oriented advice. Her work includes assisting with project approvals, community engagement and the regulation of operations for the energy and mining industries. She also advises on public utility and product regulation matters, working closely with project proponents, stakeholders, business owners and public entities.
Samantha earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria in 2024. During law school, she developed a strong interest in regulatory law and gained valuable experience in navigating complex legal frameworks. Prior to law school, Samantha completed a Bachelor of Arts in Geography (Environment and Sustainability) at the University of British Columbia in 2016, where she cultivated her understanding of environmental and sustainability issues.
Before becoming an associate at Bennett Jones, Samantha summered and articled with the firm. She was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2025.
